WG1 is organizing a Training School in the Phylogenetic Study of Affective States Across Species

In this Training School, you will:

  • Learn what affective states are
  • Conceptualize affective states in non-verbal animals
  • Define affective characters or traits
  • Conduct a phylogenetic analysis of characters
  • Conduct a literature search for affective characters in a range of species

Trainers include:

Prof. Liz Paul (University of Bristol, UK)
Prof. Mike Mendl (University of Bristol, UK)
Dr. László Garamszegi (Hungarian Centre for Ecological Research)

We have 16 fully-funded places to fill. Self-funding students are also welcome.

To apply, fill out this Expression of Interest form before 23 February. Results of the application will be communicated at the start of March.
